Examples of Renovation of Wooden Facilities: Kurosaki Nagata Wetland Nature Park
Possible appropriate renovation proposals! Introducing a case where FRP materials were used for partial renovation and expansion of Yatsuhashi.
We would like to introduce the renovation case of the Yatsuhashi at Kurozaki Nagata Wetland Nature Park (Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture). Located in the northwestern coastal area of Nagasaki City, it is well-known as the best habitat for dragonflies in Japan. Due to the presence of dangerous areas caused by corrosion in the existing wooden Yatsuhashi, it has been renovated to improve accessibility and make it easier for visitors to stroll. FRP materials, which are resistant to salt damage and humidity, have been used, and additional walking paths have been constructed to enhance the convenience for local residents. 【Renovation Case】 ■ Scale: Partial renovation and expansion of Yatsuhashi ■ Materials Used - Structural Material: Imported wood → FRP - Flooring: Imported wood → FRP - Railing: Pin foundation method (for the expanded section) Our company is capable of making appropriate renovation proposals by combining various materials such as steel, aluminum alloy, GRP, recycled wood, and natural wood.
